Bali Airport Transfer to Ubud
Ubud sits in the green hills of central Bali, far from the beach towns around the airport. After a long flight, a private car straight from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to your villa or hotel is the easiest way to get there.
The drive from DPS to Ubud
Ubud is one of the longer transfers from the airport. The route heads north through Denpasar and the craft villages of Batubulan, Celuk and Mas before climbing into the rice terraces. How long it takes depends heavily on the time of day and traffic around Denpasar, so we always recommend leaving plenty of buffer on departure days.
Arriving at villas in the hills
Many Ubud stays are down narrow lanes or outside the town centre in areas like Sayan, Tegallalang or Payangan. Choose your exact villa when booking and our driver will take you to the door, or to the nearest point a car can reach if the entrance is on a footpath.
Room for luggage and surfboards
Staying a while in Ubud usually means bigger bags. Tell us how many large suitcases you have and we'll suggest a vehicle size with enough space, so nobody travels with a bag on their lap.
